PAUL W. CZAMANSKE

President & CEO

Paul Czamanske founded Compass Group in 1983.   He previously held executive level positions in sales and marketing for Ford Motor Company in the U.S. and Ford of Europe.  In his last position as National Market Representation Manager for the Ford Division, he also served on the Division's Operating Committee.  He spent six years in Europe, and served as Director of Marketing, Supply and Service for Ford of Germany in Cologne. Based in London, he was responsible for seven countries as Group Director, Northern Europe.

Paul conducts senior-level search engagements including president, CEO, COO, CFO, and Board of Directors. He serves on several boards including the Detroit Economic Club, Hospice of Michigan, Board of Visitors - School of Business Administration - Wayne State University, and the President’s Advisory Council of Valparaiso University.  He is also a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and the Association for Corporate Growth.  From 2001 through 2006 he served on the Board of Directors for the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC). 

Paul was the recipient of the 2002 Raynolds Award from the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC).  The award honors a professional for excellence in executive search consulting and commitment to volunteerism.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Wayne State University and in 1983 completed the Advanced Management Program at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University.
